Masters Equivalence Certificate for Degree Holders

The Deanship of the Faculty of Engineering, during its no 1/2-9-2009 meeting, has taken the decision, ratified at the meeting of the Senate of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki on 23 December 2009, to grant a Masters academic equivalence certificate to all degree holders from the Faculties and Schools that fulfil specific requirements.

This certificate will state that the 5-year degree, awarded by the Schools of the Faculty of Engineering, at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, after the completion of ten (10) academic semesters of a full-time course of study, which includes the writing of a diploma thesis research paper (one-semester), corresponds to three hundred (300) ECTS credits, a fact which justifies its academic equivalence to degrees under the international title of MASTER, as granted by equal Universities abroad under relevant circumstances.

Students can submit their applications at the School Secretariats, which are responsible for issuing the certificates, and also receive information regarding the current recognition and validity of the certificate.
